About the Event

Welcome to Run Red, a NHF GO event open to individuals and families excited to run (or walk) in honor of Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month and NHF's 75th Anniversary!

This fully virtual event is happening March 1st-31st and will benefit the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF).  From the ease of your own treadmill to your local trail, Run Red takes place anywhere you'd like, whenever you'd like! This year, we're challenging you to run/walk/jog 7,500 steps in honor of NHF's 75 Years of Service!

Available events:

How Does It Work?

Participants have the entire month of March to rack up miles towards event/distance selected. That's right: As long as you complete your mile(s) in March, you're good to go!

The steps to participation are easy:

  1. Register for the event at the top of this page, Register/Create Event (Entry Fees- $25/individuals; $35/families).

  2. Customize your personal fundraising page that will be automatically generated for you during registration. Although fundraising is not mandatory, we encourage participants to support the inheritable blood and bleeding disorders community during this very special month. *There is no fundraising minimum for this event*

  3. Track your miles throughout the month of March by downloading the Charity Miles app. Be sure to select NHF as your charity of choice and join the "Run Red 2023".  By creating a profile in Charity Miles, you can easily track your miles. (Great news: If you use the Strava app during runs, you can link your workouts/miles right into Charity Miles!) (Learn more about Charity Miles below, Charity Miles: Connect, Track & Submit Your Time)

  4. Run or walk throughout the month of March. You have all month to complete your distance and rack up those miles!

Thank You for Making Your Miles Count

Thank you for making your miles count by running and raising awareness, funds, and support for the inheritable blood and bleeding disorders community.

Funds raised by each participant will allow NHF to continue to fund innovative research to find better treatments and cures for inheritable blood and bleeding disorders, educate healthcare practitioners and families on the latest blood and bleeding disorders treatment options, ensure families have access to healthcare, and provide support for the inheritable blood and bleeding disorders community.  We can't thank you enough.

About NHF

The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) is dedicated to finding cures for inheritable blood disorders and to addressing and preventing the complications of these disorders through research, education, and advocacy enabling people and families to thrive.
